What was the highlight of The Alan
Pleasant but not inspiring
Reception was really beautiful, staff generally friendly and everything was smooth. Bed was comfy and it was very quiet.
Seems like most of the effort was made in the lobby as our room was a bit bland. Rug didn't fit the space, no lampshades, no artwork. Water glasses but no water. Only one towel in the bathroom despite us being two guests. It didn't feel like a 4 star hotel... it was pleasant but not inspiring.

Room was spacious and hotel was in a great location
Room was freezing, tv was so far from the bed the remote didn’t work, no chair at the desk, dated bathroom. We stayed for New Years Eve and went to the bar for a couple of drinks before we headed out to be told they were out of stock of “most things”, very poor considering the time of year.
